A Day with Shopify is a multi-city tour where select Shopify Partners and employees present insights and advice to help partners navigate and grow their businesses.
After finding success in 2016, ADWS 2017 required a refreshed logo and brand. Working with the project champion, I designed a new branding guideline, the event website and all social media assets.
A Day with Shopify is a multi-city tour where select Shopify Partners and employees give presentations, sharing insights and advice, to help partners navigate and grow their businesses.
After finding success in 2016, ADWS 2017 required a refreshed logo and brand. Working with the project champion, I designed the new brand, created a simple branding guideline and designed the event website and all social media assets.
Inspired by growth graphs commonly used to portray improvement in business, I designed a pattern of diagonal arrows as the graphical component; which suggests a sense of energy and movement into success, in contrast to horizontal lines that suggest a state of rest.
To give each tour stop its unique logo, I designed a secondary mark that allows for the customization of the city and country name, all the while keeping a connection to the main event name and mark.
The banners and stage setup had to be customized to the specific venue of each city. I directed the stage design by keeping in consideration the seating distance away from the backdrops, the amount of light available in the room, the size of the space to design within, and the podium and screen locations.
